Hi, I am Filip and I love to build software, which can take many forms. Ranging from simple utilities, web applications to native iOS applications, but I prefer to write backend software over the frontend one. I enjoy writing software that automates routine tasks, saving time, money and energy of humans.

Other than software I love DIY mentality, woodworking, cooking , vinyl collecting , electronic hardware and I am also a karate coach in our local club.

I can speak Czech (native) and English language.

    Providing backend support for Heureka mobile apps, continually improving mobile apps backend and rewriting the legacy APIs to the new microservice architecture.

  • Mobile apps developer @ heureka.group (2016-2021)

    Completely rewritten old Heureka iOS app written in Objective-C to new, modern Swift language and continually improving it.

  • PHP Developer @ heureka.group (2013-2016)

    Backend development in one of the biggest Czech e-commerce sites, responsible for working with data import and data processing, implementing custom cross-sell solution, improving ‘Verified by customers’ service.
